When it is brown it is time to close down. We will be open next year as a nonprofit. We no longer be doing business as A Fierce Chase Cross Country Ski Trails LLP. It has become time to refocus our attention to family, which means that the ski business will have to change its role in our lives. We will have our trails open for the public for skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or walking. The warming hut will not be available next year. The trails will be open, and available for all. A donation box will be at the trail head in the parking lot for those who wish to help defray the cost of insurance, taxes, trail maintance, equipment maintance and gas. The trails will be groomed on a limited basis. They will not be groomed daily or every Friday on a regular basis. We will offer limioted special programs for groups or school group instruction. We will provide season rentals only, no individual daily rentals will be available except for group programs. We would like to thank the thousands of skiers that have made these last seven years so special to us. You have become like family to us as we have shared our excitement of nordic skiing with you. We hope to see many of you in the future in our new role. We wish you all the best, ski ya later John Sue and Aquila Fierce Chase PS Hibernation is for the bears! Get out and Ski!
